The team
Our clinicians lecture for Align Technology, advise Dentsply Sirona as Key Opinion Leaders and teach hands-on courses through Building Better. At Widegate House they do the day job: looking after you.
Behind the chair
Our clinicians work with a dedicated nursing and reception team at Widegate House. They look after your booking, your notes and your visit from arrival to aftercare, so the clinicians can concentrate on the dentistry.

Every clinician at Widegate House is registered with the General Dental Council. Each profile lists their GDC number, qualifications and the treatments they focus on.
Dr Shivan Dave, our Clinical Director, has practised since 2008. He spent 12 years at King's College Hospital, one of the UK's busiest oral surgery units, before moving his focus to restorative dentistry, implants and complex cases. Dr Amit Patel has been in practice for more than 17 years and focuses on Invisalign treatment, veneers and smile design. Dr Spencer Richman limits his practice to root canal treatment and has carried out more than 7,000 of them, working under the operating microscope.
Sarah Waters, our dental hygienist and therapist, looks after prevention and gum health, and carries out most cleans with Guided Biofilm Therapy using EMS Airflow. For nervous patients, a strong gag reflex or longer treatment, Damien Reilly, a Consultant in Special Care Dentistry, provides IV conscious sedation, so your dentist can concentrate on the dentistry.
Because the team works side by side, with CBCT 3D imaging, digital scanning and an on-site lab in the same building, a crown, a root canal and a hygiene visit can be planned together rather than referred across town. Every assessment ends with a written treatment plan and exact costs before any treatment starts. The whole team also sees patients at our sister practice, Sardinia House in Holborn.
