Same-day crowns
Scan. Design. Mill. Fit.
The conventional route is two appointments, a fortnight apart, with a temporary crown in between. Ours is one diary entry.

Same-day dentistry
Same-day dentistry means being seen quickly and, wherever it is clinically sound, leaving with the work finished. Widegate House was set up for it: digital scanners, a CEREC mill, an on-site lab and CBCT imaging are all in the building, under three minutes from Liverpool Street station.
Three kinds of same-day
Call, WhatsApp or book online and we will find the earliest slot, often today. Emergencies are seen first.
Scanned, designed, milled and fitted in one visit with CEREC and our on-site lab. No temporary crown and no return trip.
Where it is clinically right, we treat at the first visit rather than booking you back: fillings, repairs, bonding, hygiene and whitening.
Same-day crowns
The conventional route is two appointments, a fortnight apart, with a temporary crown in between. Ours is one diary entry.

We check the tooth, take any X-rays needed and confirm a crown is the right answer. The tooth is numbed and shaped.
A digital scan replaces the impression. Your dentist designs the crown on screen and you can see it before it is made.
The crown is milled from a ceramic block, then stained, glazed and fired to match the neighbouring teeth. You can take calls or catch up on email in the meantime.
The crown is tried in, the bite is checked and it is bonded in place. You leave with the finished tooth.
Often done in one visit
Fast is only better when it is also right. If a tooth needs time to settle, or a result will be better done in stages, we will say so and explain why.
Common questions
Often, yes. Call or WhatsApp 07497 573 936 or check online booking for today's availability. Urgent problems such as pain, swelling or a broken tooth are prioritised.
Check-ups, hygiene, fillings, composite bonding, emergency repairs and most ceramic crowns on back teeth can usually be finished in one appointment.
Treatment that depends on healing or on teeth moving, such as implants, Invisalign® treatment and some root canal cases, takes more than one visit. We will always tell you the realistic timescale first.
No. A same-day CEREC crown has the same guide fee as a conventional ceramic crown, from £1,250, and there is no charge for being seen quickly.
Around two to three hours in total. About half of that is milling and finishing time, when you can work, take calls or step out.
