Born in Holborn. Built for the City.
Widegate House is the newest practice in a group that began at Sardinia House, a Holborn practice of more than four decades. It brings the same clinicians and the same standards to Liverpool Street, with the technology to finish in one visit what used to take two.
Sardinia House opened in Holborn as a restorative and aesthetic practice and grew by reputation. Many of its patients worked in the City and fitted appointments around their days as best they could.
They asked, often, whether we could be closer. Widegate House is the answer: a practice on Widegate Street, under three minutes from Liverpool Street station, designed from the outset for people whose time is short.
That shaped every decision. Digital scanners in place of impressions. A CEREC mill and a lab on site, so a crown is made while you wait. CBCT imaging in the building, so a diagnosis does not need a second trip. Online booking, WhatsApp and appointments that start when they are meant to.
The clinicians are the same people who built Sardinia House's reputation. Dr Shivan Dave leads the practice as Clinical Director, alongside Dr Amit Patel, Dr Spencer Richman, hygienist and therapist Sarah Waters and Damien Reilly, a Consultant in Special Care Dentistry who provides IV sedation.

Through Building Better, our clinicians teach other dentists what we have learned. Teaching keeps our own work honest.
The family

Widegate House is one of three founding practices in Atelier Dental Group, with Sardinia House in Holborn and Bellevue Dental in Wandsworth. The group also runs Building Better, an education academy for dentists.
Each practice has its own character. All three share clinicians, an in-house lab and one belief: that excellent dentistry should feel warm, considered and human.
