Dr Amit Patel

Amit qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' and went on to a Master's degree in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. He has been in practice for more than 17 years and is the principal of Sardinia House in Holborn, the practice Widegate House grew out of.

He is an Invisalign Platinum Provider, a speaker and clinical mentor for Align Technology, a Key Opinion Leader for Dentsply Sirona and a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. He writes for and presents webinars with Dentistry.co.uk on digital workflows and AI-supported Invisalign treatment planning.

With Dr Spencer Richman he co-founded Building Better, an academy that teaches other dentists digital and restorative dentistry on live cases. Patients and colleagues know him as the Smile Architect.

Away from the practice, Amit spends his spare time travelling the world and has completed a charity climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. He is passionate about motor racing and teaches young children to go-kart, which led to a sponsored drive with the AA team in the Caterham Roadsport championship and a well-deserved second place for the team.
